Melbourne Youth Tap

Aussie tap stars of the future “Melbourne Youth Tap” (MYT) is a jam-packed troupe of kids taught by Grant Swift. In their show you will see a diverse range of influences going right back to the root of the art form – Africa (see Lamine Sonko). It’s important to know the spirit and soul of what you are doing to be able to take any art form honestly into the now and MYT will entertain and educate while having a great time with their tap shoes on.

Some past performances include: Royal Childrens’ Hospital, Summertime Grooves, Moomba Festival, Bob Sedergreen Trio, Dizzy’s Jazz Jams, World Masters Games, Crown Palladium, Melbourne International Tap Festival I & II, ANZAC day races, Connex Christmas Party, Caulfied Racecourse, ‘Brenda Buffalino Down Under’, Millenium Choir Concert, Victorian Arts Centre, Prahran Market mainstage, FootJam: Flamenco-Tap fusion show, International Tap Dance Day celebration at Parliament House, Zokky The Kangaroo (TV show) and Channel 9’s “Today” show. MYT will be lead by Oscar Swift of “The Swift Brothers.”
